Paris Goode, co-founder of Threshold Music Academy is a Columbus-based guitarist/bassist with 18 years of professional guitar experience best known for her work with "Cellar Dwellar". She coaches advanced music theory—extended harmony, reharmonization, modal interchange, voice-leading, and polyrhythms/odd meters—and applies it to guitar (fingerstyle, chord-melody, hybrid/economy picking, legato/tapping, alternate tunings) and bass (time feel, chord-tone/modal soloing, walking & modern grooves, rhythmic displacement, tasteful slap/pop). Comfortable in rock, metal, jazz-adjacent, funk, hip-hop, modern pop, country, folk, Latin, and ambient, she builds targeted practice plans tailored to the students needs.
